Irshansk municipality is located in Zhytomyr region. The municipality comprises the settlement of Irshansk and 13 villages situated within the Zhytomyr Polissia region near the Irsha River.
The subsoil of Irshansk municipality is rich in valuable minerals, with ilmenite deposits being of primary importance. The municipality holds significant reserves of minerals such as titanium ores, granites, labradorites, and deposits of decorative and facing stone. With extensive forest areas and abundant water resources, the municipality offers excellent opportunities for environmental and woodworking projects. The availability of vacant land plots located near regional and international roads and railway lines simplifies the transport of goods.
There is high demand for the establishment of light industry enterprises, as well as facilities for processing local raw materials, including stone processing, woodworking, and the food industry. Investments in the reconstruction of the municipality are particularly important where they aim to provide barrier-free access to social and healthcare infrastructure, such as schools, nurseries, healthcare facilities, and other venues providing services for women, children, people with disabilities, internally displaced persons, and veterans. The municipality also aims to improve the effectiveness of planning, particularly in the areas of sustainable development, energy efficiency, accessibility, and economic development.
