The municipality benefits from direct logistics connections, as it is crossed by the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhanskyi highway and the Southwestern Railway, with Boryspil International Airport located 90 km away. The local economy is driven by large-scale agriculture, specialising in grain, industrial crops, and livestock. This agricultural base supports a developed food processing sector, led by the prominent Yahotynskyi Butter Factory alongside local manufacturers of agricultural and food processing equipment.
The local council has established development plans focused on energy efficiency, ecological initiatives, and infrastructure restoration.
