Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Vilniansk municipality comprises 15 settlements and the town of Vilniansk as its administrative centre. The town of Vilniansk is located 25 km from the regional capital, Zaporizhzhia. The city has rail service, including a railway station on the Synelnykove-1–Zaporizhzhia-1 line. There are 24 agricultural enterprises operating within the municipality, engaged in crop production, livestock farming, and poultry farming. The largest of these are: Agroprominvest-08, Mulino, Maslozavod, and the Vilniansk Bakery.
The municipality is actively seeking partners. The city of Vilniansk is an associate member of the Union of the Baltic Cities.
