Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Velyki Hai municipality unites 15 settlements directly bordering the regional centre of Ternopil, making its suburban location highly attractive for both investors and residents. While the community maintains a typically agricultural character, its proximity to the city ensures excellent transport connections via state and international roads as well as an airport. The local economy is supported by several large private and public employers, including agricultural enterprises and a regional tuberculosis dispensary, which helped generate a powerful local budget of over 251 million hryvnias in 2025. To support its population of 11,103 residents, the municipality fully manages its own network of ten educational institutions and plans to establish an academic lyceum by 2027. Furthermore, the community features a modern Administrative Service Centre and stands as one of the most successful in the region due to its developed infrastructure, transparent management, and high quality of social services.
