The strategic position of the municipality provides convenient access to major transport routes, fostering favourable conditions for local trade, business development, and investment. The local economy is built upon small and medium-sized enterprises, trade, agriculture, and food processing, most notably hosting Volynholding, the leading Ukrainian food-processing company famous for its TORCHYN-branded products. Beyond its industrial and strong agricultural assets, the municipality actively invests in local infrastructure, education, youth development, digital literacy, and comprehensive support services for internally displaced persons and veterans. Committed to sustainable development, the municipality is openly seeking international partnerships and investments in wastewater treatment infrastructure, renewable energy, digital transformation, and municipality resilience.
