Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Following devastating combat operations that destroyed critical infrastructure, the Staromlynivka municipality has lost its ability to fully function, forcing residents to displace to safer regions of Ukraine. To manage the ongoing crisis, the Staromlynivka Military Administration was established in April 2025 by Presidential Decree to support local families, while local secondary and creative education centres continue to operate remotely. The administration fruitfully cooperates with support centres for internally displaced persons and the youth non-governmental organisation “FORTETSIA MAIBUTNOHO”, which was founded by displaced local youths in 2025. Throughout 2025 and June 2026, the municipality actively expanded its partnership network by concluding numerous memorandums of cooperation with various military administrations, public bodies, and charitable organisations. To preserve its identity and plan for future restoration, the municipality implements targeted social programmes and maintains connection with its scattered residents through its official website and dedicated social media channels.
