Pomichna municipality, situated southwest of the regional centre of Kropyvnytskyi within the Dnipro Upland, serves as a strategically vital transportation and logistical corridor in central Ukraine.
The municipality's primary economic and logistical asset is its high-capacity railway hub of national significance. Operating under the Odesa Railway network, Pomichna features both a passenger station and a major freight junction station, fully supported by localized locomotive and wagon depots that provide substantial technical advantages for heavy freight transportation and industrial warehousing.
This rail infrastructure is closely integrated with a developed regional road network. The community is positioned at the intersection of key transit routes, including the M-13 highway connecting Kropyvnytskyi directly to Platonove at the Moldovan border, and the T-12-14 regional highway.
