Novovorontsovka municipality, situated on the right bank of the Dnipro River, occupies a strategic position as a vital service centre for surrounding rural areas. The local economy is traditionally rooted in a strong agricultural sector with high potential for agri-processing, value-added manufacturing, and irrigation restoration.
Despite suffering significant infrastructure damage and economic disruption as a frontline territory during the full-scale invasion, the municipality has demonstrated high resilience and active local leadership. The local administration has already established a proven track record of international cooperation, successfully implementing recovery projects alongside partner municipalities and development organisations from the USA, the Netherlands, Croatia, Germany, and Sweden.
