Nova Borova Municipality possesses significant land resources, forest areas, natural building materials, and water bodies, including the strategically important Irshan reservoir. Its economic potential relies on an industrial sector supported by substantial granite reserves and a developed agricultural sector with available land plots for investment. The municipality offers strong development potential in renewable energy, logistics, woodworking, and the food industry. Local authorities have established experience in intermunicipal and international cooperation, demonstrating a proven readiness for investment, social, and infrastructure initiatives. For international partners, the municipality focuses on upgrading municipal infrastructure, increasing energy efficiency, improving drinking water quality, and expanding social services.
