Additional peculiarities of the municipality:

The city of Nikopol is located five kilometers from the contact line and seven kilometers from the Zaporizhzhia NPP, which has been occupied since March 2022. The city has been under daily shelling since July 2022, but despite this, the city of Nikopol cooperates with the European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI) program and is a city of integrity.
