Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
The municipality, situated within the fertile Poltava Plain, features a resilient economy backed by over 81,000 hectares of agricultural land and a diverse industrial sector generating UAH 3,360.1 million in annual sales. The local economy is driven by mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and woodworking, supported by a workforce of over 9,000 full-time employees and a thriving network of more than 4,500 business entities. Rich in natural resources, the municipality benefits from critical rivers of the Dnipro basin, extensive fertile soils, and valuable mineral deposits like peat and underground drinking water. The territory stands out for its ecological commitment, hosting an extensive nature reserve fund that includes the state-significant "Chervonoberezhye" reserve alongside numerous local sanctuaries and protected natural landmarks.
