Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
Strategically located at the crossroads of major highways (H14, H23) and key rail routes, Kropyvnytskyi serves as a vital transport hub connecting Odesa, Kyiv, and Dnipro. The city boasts a strong aviation heritage, anchored by the Kropyvnytskyi Aircraft Repair Plant, which maintains both military and civilian aircraft. Surrounding the urban centre, fertile farmlands produce grains and sunflowers, fueling a robust agribusiness sector with food-processing facilities adding value to local agricultural output. This diversified economic base positions Kropyvnytskyi as an important industrial and logistical centre in central Ukraine.
