Kolomyichykha municipality is heavily anchored by agriculture and livestock farming, managing over 33,385 hectares of fertile agricultural land. The territory features rich water resources, including two rivers, a reservoir, and 27 ponds, with a portion of its lands officially protected under the European Emerald Network. Logistical connectivity is supported by a national highway, an active railway line, and a dedicated passenger-freight station passing directly through the area.
Before 2022, the municipality maintained a robust local infrastructure comprising 57 agricultural enterprises, 29 critical infrastructure facilities, 30 social institutions, and nearly 1,500 residential buildings. Currently operating under complex wartime conditions, the administration is focusing on future reconstruction and seeks international partnerships to rebuild its damaged housing stock, restore its agricultural capacity, and modernize its critical infrastructure.
