Additional peculiarities of the municipality:
The Khotyn City Council is a signatory to 22 Cooperation Agreements with municipalities in 12 countries around the world: Teltow, Ahlen (Germany), Opoczno County, Wałcz, Żagań, Gmina Korczyna (Poland), Târgu Neamț, Gura Humorului, Horezu, Vama, Siret, Dorohoi (Romania), Berat (Albania), La Couronne (France), Alūksne (Latvia), Kazlų Rūda (Lithuania), Stropkov (Slovakia), Karlovo (Bulgaria), Çeşme (Turkey), Soroca, Dondușeni (Moldova), Eslöv (Sweden).
The Khotyn City Council is trusted by international financial institutions, such as International Finance Corporation, International Organization for Migration, Move Ukraine, United Nations Population Fund and others implementing projects on the territory of Khotyn municipality.
The Khotyn City Council has concluded memorandums of cooperation with the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy, the European Network of Places of Peace, the Association "Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine", the Swedish International Development Agency and UNDP, the German Society for International Cooperation, and is a signatory of the Covenant of Mayors.
According to the results of 2024, the Khotyn City Council, in cooperation with other organizations, attracted about 1 million euros for the construction and reconstruction of houses for IDPs, municipal equipment to support the city's critical infrastructure, equipment for the hospital, etc.
Currently, the Khotyn municipality is a participant in European projects - SALAM (Interreg Europe 2021-2027), INSPIRE and others.
