Association of Ukrainian Cities urges everyone to join in the release of captured local government officials:

Oleksandr Babych, НоІа Prystan City Mayor, Kherson region,

lhor Kolykhaiev, Kherson City Mayor,

Yevheniі Matvieiev, Dniprorudne City Mayor, Zaporizhzhia region,

Anatolii Siryi, Starosta of Novi Borovychi starosta district of Snovsk city municipality, Chernihiv region.
 

The Association of Ukrainian Cities is systematically working to release the captured local government officials. Since the full-scale invasion, 55 officials have been abducted.

Oleksii Vynnychenko, Starosta of Hrebenyky starosta district, Boromlia village municipality, Sumy region, died in captivity.

Four officials remain on the territory not controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, and the Association of Ukrainian Cities and its international partners have joined forces to release them.
